The winery is built directly into this
magnificent building, fully respecting every aspect
of this historical treasure. The Castelcosa is under
the protection of the Regional Office for the Protection
of Historical Buildings, and the need for efficient,
up-to-date operations is always exercised with scrupulous
care for preserving its precious character. |

Inside is the fermentation cellar with
its stainless steel tanks, next to it our state-of-the-art
bottling room that always boasts the latest in technology.
In the central area, about 3 meters below ground level,
the ancient original cellar now houses our ageing cellars,
the wine resting in both small barrels and in the traditional
25-50 hl (660-1,320 gal.) Slavonian oak ovals.
Ideal temperature and humidity levels, constant year
round, ensure the slow maturation and improvement of
the wines.
