profusion of aromas, prominent among them tropical fruits,
yellow sweet pepper, and a certain characteristic flintiness.
An immediate
impression of silky richness, with just the right level
of acidity enlivening the wine and supporting an impressive
suite of aromatic compounds; the tropical fruits, so
evident in the nose, return in the lengthy finish.
Perfect with antipasti and cured prosciutto; with full-flavored
fish and shellfish such as lobster, crayfish, and prawns;
with vegetable and fish purees.
